Samuel Jerry Clingan, 68, of Worland, July 22, 2015.
Samuel Jerry Clingan, 68 year old Worland resident passed away on
July 22, 2015 at the Washakie Medical Center in Worland. Jerry was
born on October 25, 1946 to John and Ruby (Smith) Clingan in Rock
Springs, Wyo. He graduated from Rock Springs in 1965. He worked at
Coors Can Plant in Golden, Colorado, retiring after over 30 years of
dedicated service. He then relocated to Worland, where he work for a
number of years at Kennedy Ace Hardware.
He was preceded in death
by his parents, sister, Eva Sue and daughter, Tammie.
Survivors
include his love and special partner, Alice Rogers, children, Terry
of Texas and Timothy of Colorado; brothers, Patrick and Robert
Clingan both of Rock Springs, Wyo.; three grandchildren, Courtney,
Caitlyn and Timothy, Jr.; nieces, Dina (Dave) Preece in MT. View,
Wyo. and Christy Smith in Lyman, Wyo.
Memorial services will be
held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at St. Alban’s Episcopal
Church. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Gladys Augusta Nichols Jones passed away July 25, 2015 at the New
Horizon Care Center in Lovell Wyoming. Gladys was born near Lysite
Wyoming September 13, 1929 the daughter of James Lee Nichols Sr. and
Susie Parm Nichols.
Gladys grew up on the family homestead on
Bridger creek attending schools in Shoshone before moving to Lucerne
area near Thermopolis where she graduated from high school in 1948.
After high school Gladys lived with her sister Helen Hill and worked
at the Coca-Cola bottling company.
Gladys married Andrew Charles
Jones on February 26, 1949 and he had returned to the Lucerne area
after returning from World War II in 1945.
Gladys followed Andy’s
work as a lineman across Wyoming and South Dakota. Gladys and Andy
had three children Judith born 1950 Patricia born 1952 and Robert
born 1957.
In 1958 and he became a rule electric lineman for the
REA in Worland where they remained.
Gladys returned to work when
her daughters went to High School.
Gladys worked as a meat
cutter for Simon’s grocery store and at Cold Storage and last the
dietary aide at Bethesda care center.
Some of her children’s
fondest memories are of the family on horseback with the Washakie
rider drill team 4-H and trail rides. Gladys loved horses, wildlife,
plants, rock hunting, gardening, and sewing for her daughter’s,
music, she played the clarinet, saxophone, violin, piano and
accordion she also had a love of drawing. Gladys is preceded in
death by her husband Andy Jones nephews; Patrick Nichols, Jimmy
Barham, infant brother William Nichols her parents and siblings;
Helen (Ed) Hill, James and Lucy Nichols, Burney Nichols, Luther
(Pat) Nichols, Julie (Bob) Barham, Mary (Hugh) Vass, brother-in-law
Donald (Lorene) Jones and grandson in law Daniel Fauver.
Gladys
is survived by her sister in law Marvilla Nichols, children Judy
(Ray) Lawrence, Patricia Jones both of Powell, a son Robert Jones of
Worland Grandchildren Julie (Tim) Miller, Jamie Fauver all of
Powell, Starla Tronstad (Dan) Park of Albuquerque New Mexico, LaRae
Tronstad of Austin Texas, Andy (Kim) Lawrence of Williston North
Dakota, Brock (Juanita) Lawrence Cheyenne, Wy.
Great
Grandchildren are Andrea Lawrence, Joey Lake, Joshua Fauver, Isaiah
Fauver, Augustus Miller, Katelynn Miller, Lucas Miller and Asher
Park. Gladys has many nieces and nephews and there familys.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held August
20 at 10:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home. With burial to follow at
the Riverside Cemetery in Thermopolis. A family reunion is planned
for the Fall at Thermopolis to share pictures and memories.
Marjorie Ann Skrobut passed on to be with the Lord on July 22, 2015
in Flagstaff, AZ after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Marjorie was born to Reinhardt and Mary Bohl on October 1, 1943 in
Worland, WY. She grew up and attended school in Worland and attended
Casper College before joining the U S Army in 1963 and moving to New
York. She resigned from the army to marry and to that union was born
her daughter Lynnette.
She married Larry Skrobut in 1979 in Mesa,
AZ. Years later she returned to Arizona with her family to purchase
a business (Woody Mountain Campground) in December 1990. It was her
life’s dream to own a business. She also loved to play the piano,
she learned how to play on a church organ first and when she married
purchased her first upright piano. She loved to play and was very
good. My favorite memory of her playing is the song “ Yesterday” by
the Beatles. She could play hymns. Bach, and various other songs as
well.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant twin
sister (Marianne) and her oldest sister (Audrey).
She is survived
by her husband Larry, daughter Lynnette and son in law Jim Fulayter,
grandson Nicholas Fulayter, granddaughter Michelle Fulayter, sisters
Kathy and bother in law Russ Wagner, Maryjane andbrother in law
Frank Taggart, brother Ron Bohl and sister in law Roseanne Bohl, Don
and Karen Skrobut her brother and sister in laws, sisters in law
Sharon and Yvonne and numerous nieces and nephews that she loved
dearly.
Services were Tuesday at Citizens Cemetery, Flagstaff,

Michael Craig Foster, 58, of Worland, died suddenly on July 22,
2015.

23, 2015 at Poplar Living Center in Casper.

James Arthur Hinderliter, 72 passed away July 22, 2015 at his home near Pinedale, WY. after a battle with bone cancer. He was born to John Arthur and Clyde Lea (Spears) Hinderliter in Dothan, AL on November 11, 1942. His family were some of the first military dependents who lived in Japan after WWII. He attended Carroll High School in Ozark, AL. and joined the U.S. Air Force in March of 1960 at the age of 17. He was a member of the elite group, The Pathfinders, one of the Special Operations Groups that was formed by the U.S. Air Force that served in Southeast Asia. He was a recipient of several military decorations and served valiantly during the Vietnam Conflict. After he was honorably discharged from the U.S.A.F. he worked as a ranch hand and ranch manager in New Mexico and Texas. He attended welding school in Odessa, TX. and became a pipeline welder and worked in Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Montana, and North Dakota. He helped build several of the gas plants near Evanston, WY., including Anchutz, Rickman Creek and Whitney Canyon. He was medically retired from welding in 1984 after an industrial accident at the Anchutz plant. When he wasn’t welding, he always had ranching in his heart. He married Peggy Ann Kizer in 1962 in Abilene, TX and they were blessed with 3 children; Sherri Michael, Kelly Ann, and Kevin Wade. They later divorced. On July 12, 1986 he married Michele Rene (Siedschlaw) Giles in Pinedale, WY. To this union, she brought 2 children whom he loved as his own; Chris and Laila. They lived on a small ranch outside of Pinedale where he raised sheep and cattle and enjoyed raising and training quarter horses. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and served several years as an Elder. He was a past Vice President of the Woolgrowers Association in Sublette County and on the Board of Directors of Canyon Canal for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Michele, of 29 years. His children, Sherri Michael Davis of Worland, WY, Kelly Goss of Portales, NM, Kevin Hinderliter (Sandy) of Farson, WY, Chris Giles (Karen) of Madison, SD, and Laila (Stacy) Illoway of Pinedale, WY. Grandchildren include Joshua Davis (Katherine), Morgan Diede (Shawn), Shay Lynn Davis, all from Worland, WY, Joella Goss, of Portales, NM, Nathaniel, Warren and Ivy Hinderliter of Farson, WY, Jacob, Josh, Jessi, and Jenni Giles of Madison, SD and Blake and McKenzie Illoway of Pinedale, WY. Great Grandchildren: Haiden and Tallon Diede and Hannnah Davis of Worland WY. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Smith of Pensacola, FL., a sister-in-law Emily Hinderliter of Dothan, AL and 3 nephews and a niece. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Edward and Dan Ricky Hinderliter of AL. and nephew Charles Edward Hinderliter Jr. Funeral services will be held on July 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Pinedale, WY. Military internment will follow in the Pinedale Cemetery. There will also be a reception at Rendezvous Point following the services.
Loretta Judith Lees, 75, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2015 in Round
Up, MT.
Judith was born November 21, 1939 to Cyril and Mildred
(Costello) Widup in Winamac, IN. She attended school in Star City,
IN.
Judith married Fred Crist and with this union they had three
children. Judith was a devoted mother and wife. Judith also married
Richard Dellos.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, her
son Eric, brother Paul Widup and husband David Lees. She was also
preceded in death by her special companion Vern Moore.
Judith is
survived by her children Rhonda Schmeltzer of WY, Valerie Crist and
Kurt Dellos of CO, her siblings Mary Hiatt, Betty Parcel, of IN, Jim
Widup of MT, Terri Pipes of TX, Ruby Ondo of WY, Merlin Widup of WI,
Cyrlin Green of AZ. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3
great grandchildren, and the daughter of her special companion,
Juleen Moore.
Cremation has taken place and services will be
held at 10:30 am, August 1st at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in
Worland.

Leona M. Elliott, 78, died July 19, 2015 at Presbyterian St. Lukes
Hospital in Denver, CO.
Born in Thermopolis in 1936, she was one
of five children of Jake and Mary (Mullendore) Elliott. In 1958 she
moved to Folsom, CA where she was employed 30 years in the aerospace
industry. Following retirement she returned to Thermopolis.
She
is survived by her sister, Lila Boss; brother, Larry (Davena)
Elliott and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be
Monday, July 27, 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with the
Reverends Joe Galligan, Lin Davenport and Ron Philips officiating.
Graveside services at Monument Hill will be conducted by the Eastern
Star.
